Flutter

She landed on my nose
for one light quiet moment
a placid airy blessing bestowed
while sunshine warmed our morning
enchanted, I paused, felt peace
wondering if there was meaning
to her magical flapping dance
between my eyes and nuzzle
as though one is needed
and she fluttered circling away.
